What Are Affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are special tracking URLs that allow a partner (like a credit card issuer or affiliate network) to know that a visitor came from our site. When you click an "Apply" button or product link on CreditPoints, you're typically using an affiliate link.

Who We Work With

CreditPoints participates in affiliate programs with the following networks and issuers (this list updates as relationships change):

We also use personal Refer-a-Friend (RAF) links from cards we hold ourselves, including Chase, American Express, Capital One, Citi, Discover, and Bank of America. These are individually disclosed on the relevant card pages.

How We Earn

If you click an affiliate link on our site and are approved for a credit card by the issuer, we may receive a commission. The commission amount varies by card and issuer — typically between $50 and $900 per approved application.

Your offer is identical whether you apply through our affiliate link or directly through the issuer's website. The commission is paid by the issuer, not by you.

How We Stay Honest

Affiliate compensation does not influence:

• How we rank cards in our recommendations
• The accuracy of card terms, fees, and bonuses we publish
• The trade-offs and drawbacks we mention in reviews
• Our AI Card Advisor results

We recommend cards with low or no affiliate payout when they're the best fit for a reader. We decline to recommend high-payout cards when they're wrong for our audience.
